American Pressed or Pattern Glass Covered EAPG Compote

This is a pretty early American Pressed or Pattern glass covered compote. It dates from the last half of the 19th century (c 1880). There were several firms making scroll patterns of this type. Although we do not know what firm made this item, we do have an appraisal certificate that will come with this item showing the retail value at $275.

Beautifully done in the Scroll pattern this covered compote is a fabulous find. Size L= 6.62 H= 9.50 W= 6.62

This Compote only has some extremely minor nics around the rim of the base where the lid sits that are smooth and maybe occured during the manufacturing process.
